North Africa

Strategic Projects:

Training the believers that are of Muslim background is key to impacting this region of the world. Often the traditional Christian church does not readily accept these believers for social and political reasons, and their fellow Muslims persecute them. As a result, these believers frequently leaving their countries, removing a vital Christian witness. Because the converted believers are scattered across the region, technologies like DVD's, Internet streaming, and online chatting are being used to mentor the future leaders of Christ's Body. In other areas of the region, the Christian church is still illegal. As a result, a house church movement has begun in countries like Libya, Tunisia, and Morocco. The North African Middle East team from CSPC is working to develop relationships with these bodies, and give them aid wherever possible. Another way we are investing in this region of the world is through a school for the disabled. The communities often reject those with disabilities, and we have teamed with a Muslim-background believer to establish this program.
